Library Gaming Program

The North Canton Library has started a gaming program!

We will be kicking things off with a Call of Duty Black Ops II tournament.

At this time we have chosen to use Sony Playstation 3 systems, prizes include,

1st place: A brand new copy of Uncharted 3 Drakes Deception, a black Ops II t-shirt, and 30 days free of Playstation Plus
2nd place: Your choice of Playstation Allstars Battle Royale, or the Ratchet and Clank collection, along with 30 days free of Playstation plus
3rd place: the remaining game and a $3.00 fine credit.
 

We will order food and drink from Ermanno's Legendary Pizza, hope to see you there, game on!

Register at the reference desk, participants under 18 will need to have a signed parental consent form to participate, age requirement is 16 and up.

Calling all gardeners:  add to your garden and have fun socializing with your neighbors! Spring is a great time to thin out your beds and add to them with interesting plants for free. Bring them to swap and/or share.

This casual group gathers to learn about WordPress, free open source web software that anyone can use to create easily customizable websites and blogs. Bring your lunch. Register in advance.

What is the Internet: introduction of the Internet and how you can use it
Second Wednesday of each month from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The class provides an overview of Internet service providers and connections, the ins and outs of a browser and the different types available; and general knowledge of net navigation and tasks. Please register to attend in advance at 330.499.4712 x311.  (Skills required: Basic PC Skills)
 
Getting Social: social networking for beginners
Third Wednesday of each month 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
